KKW Trucking, Inc., a leading transportation company on the West Coast is seeking a full time Class A Driver Recruiter. We offer an opportunity for growth, competitive compensation, great work environment, health/life insurance, and 401K.

This position will be responsible for recruiting qualified Class A Driver applicants, creatively source and develop a pool of qualified applicants to keep up with our driver turnover and fill our empty tractors.

Duties and responsibilities:
*Creatively source and develop a pool of qualified applicants through the use of traditional and non-traditional techniques including social media channels, cold-calling/direct sourcing, networking, job fairs, employment agencies, internet searches, postings, referral program, etc.
*Hire 3 qualified drivers per week within the assigned hiring areas
*Recruit, screen, interview and submit an application for process
*Manage applications within Tenstreet application system
*Complete Offer letter with applicants that have been approved
*Schedule drug test for applicants that have been approved
*Schedule and communicate orientation and driver ride in
*Enter all calls, resumes and referrals with in application system
*Update the Recruiting pipeline
*Provide daily activity information for open positions to our executives
*Respond to all calls, applicants, resumes and referrals and e-mails within a timely manner
*Travel to help grow the assigned hiring areas
*May perform additional duties as assigned by leadership

Qualifications:

*MUST HAVE One year Class A Driver recruiting experience
*Experience making cold-calling and direct sourcing
*Experience in head hunting is a plus
*Experience in advertising
*Excellent phone and people skills
*Attention to detail
*Ability to type 40 WPM with 100% accuracy
*Computer literate: including Microsoft Office, excel, and word
*Must be able to work with drivers in a fast paced work environment
*Must be a self-starter and be self-managed
*Strong communication and organizational skills
*Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
*Knowledge of the transportation industry

Working conditions:

*Travel to help grow specific hiring areas

Physical requirements:

*This position requires sitting 95 percent of the time
*This position requires the employee to be able to speak 100 % of the time
*This position requires the use of hands and fingers for computer use, answering of telephone and handling paperwork
*Able to travel
*Able to drive
