Organizations We Sponsor

KKW Trucking is proud to sponsor several organizations.

Women in Trucking Foundation

The Women in Trucking Foundation supports ambitious students, drivers, and professionals in the trucking industry by raising funds for scholarships, evaluating applications, and distributing funds to schools to ensure that women in the trucking industry have the support they need to grow their skills and themselves.

California Trucking Association

The California Trucking Association promotes leadership in the California trucking industry, advocates sound transportation policies to all levels of government, and works to maintain a safe, environmentally responsible and efficient California transportation goods movement system.

Patterson High School Truck Driving Program

With the growing demand for qualified and well trained drivers, Patterson High School has developed a comprehensive program to train and educate high school students. This year’s long class consists of 180 regular school hours and an additional 30 hours of lab time that takes place outside the regular school hours (before or after school). The program is made up of a combination of classroom instruction, demonstrations, hands-on exercises, and simulator experience. Upon completion of the course students will be prepared to apply for the Commercial Learner’s Permit (CLP) written exam and begin their behind-the-wheel training which is offered free of charge through the Patterson Joint Unified School District Adult Education program. Job placement assistance is available for those who complete the behind-the-wheel training and obtain a Commercial Driver’s License with one of the program’s numerous industry partners.

This course meets the Department of Transportation Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s Entry Level Driver Training Standards. In addition, upon completion of the course students will be certified in both Worklete (a program that teaches the proper way to perform industry specific movements to reduce workplace injuries) and Truckers Against Trafficking (students are trained how to recognize and report instances of human trafficking).
